Pure Kanchipuram Handwoven all over butta design silk saree

Kanjivaram silk sarees are magnificent works of art, handwoven by craftsmen living in and around the Kanchipuram region of Tamil Nadu. Kanjivaram silk sarees are woven using mulberry silk yarn in vibrant colours and contrasting borders with elaborate zari work. Motifs woven in a traditional Kanjivaram saree are inspired from Pallava architecture and paintings. Mostly, the border, the body and the pallu of the sari are woven separately and interlocked together by a tight joint called Korvai.
